Join Nathan Ayers and Bill Bobier as they introduce the concepts and practices of Agroforestry as they are being implemented at Earthscape Farm. Agroforestry is the integration of trees and shrubs with crop and animal production systems. These systems focus primarily on soil health, water quality and the diversification of food production systems. Instructor Nathan Ayers will lead a presentation on the five agroforestry systems for West Michigan farms, forests and landowners. Longtime Agroforestry pioneer Bill Bobier will lead a tour of his epic Earthscape Farm, a 300+ acre pasture & forest farm located in Oceana.
