DESCRIPTION:Quoted from Eventbrite page: \n“Join the Farm Alliance of Baltimore’s Black Butterfly Urban Farmer Academy for an on farm field day! \n\nAbout this event\n\n\n\nThis field day will be hosted by Joanna and Bryan of Good Dog Farm. Good Dog Farm is a 25-acre vegetable farm in Upperco\, Maryland that grows certified organic vegetables for Baltimore area restaurants and their 200 person CSA. Collectively they have over 25 years of farming experience on both urban and rural farms. Attendees will tour the farm and hear how Good Dog Farm designed their business\, acquired land and manages their operation with their 5 employees. \nThis is an in-person workshop. Pre registration is required so we can plan accordingly. We suggest that attendees wear weather appropriate attire\, and closed-toed shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. Be sure to bring a water bottle! There will be a hand washing station on site\, as well as extra masks\, waters\, hand sanitizer\, sunscreen & bug spray. \n\nLocation: 4124 Blackrock Road \, Upperco\, MD 21155 (Note: make sure the address in your GPS is for Upperco with the zip code 21155)\nParking Information: in the field onsite\, carpooling is encouraged\nRestrooms: Yes\nOther Notes: We will be walking around the large property.
