DESCRIPTION:Every year\, the Center for Agroforestry at the University of Missouri (UMCA) hosts a public Symposium to grow connections and raise awareness about important work happening in our field. This year’s Symposium\, “Demystifying Perennial Crop Improvement and Integration\,” will celebrate collaboration and encourage knowledge exchange between the science and research community\, farmers\, producers and landowners\, and the general public. \nIn partnership with the New Roots for Restoration Biological Integration Institute\, UMCA is hosting an interdisciplinary slate of presenters from around the country with expertise and important insights on perennial crop breeding\, genetic characterization\, scaling\, and integration. \nThe 2023 Symposium will be held virtually via Zoom on January 18\, 2023 with additional online engagement opportunities at www.CenterForAgroforestry.org\, including discussion forums and poster presentations.
