AgriVoltaics: Solar Energy on Dairy Farms

Brad Heins, researcher with the University of Minnesota West Central Research and Outreach Center, discusses the potential to offset fossil fuel dependence via ground mounted solar panels as shade for cattle. The project explores energy audits, solar for co-location with livestock and agriculture, and education for farmers and industry professionals.
