About Anita: Anita is in her 12th season farming. She has worked on both non-profit and production farms in Pennsylvania, Virginia, California, Washington, D.C., and New Mexico. Before farming, she trained and worked as a social worker in New York City. She is deeply committed to increasing food access for all people, as well as community building, financial security and safety for farmworkers, and empowerment through food production and food sovereignty. She is the founder of the Not Our Farm Project and is a co-farmer at Ashokra Farm, a queer poc farming collective in Albuquerque.

About Not Our Farm: Not Our Farm is a not for profit farm worker visibility and advocacy project. We are storytellers and work to uplift the journeys of farmers working on farms not their own, all while reimagining a safe and joyful worker-centered farming future where we all can thrive.
About REGAIN: REGAIN (The Regenerative Agriculture Idea Network) is an online community of practice designed for all regenerative agriculture educators, advocates, and practitioners. REGAIN is built to enhance partnerships between organizations and add value to organizations working toward regenerative agriculture. REGAIN is committed to understanding the full history of U.S. agriculture and how our efforts can mend not only the soil, but also human relationships with each other and the land.
This event will be recorded. See you there!
